Northside Community Guest Home Foundation
The Northside Community Guest Home Foundation is a non-profit organization that was established in the year 2000. As a fundraising committee we strive to work with our fellow community members to provide continued support to the residents at the Northside Community Guest Home. All of our fundraising efforts go directly to the purchase of medical equipment, furnishings, sponsorship of a wheelchair accessible van as well as any upgrades and renovation requirements to enhance the care and lives of all the residents of the Guest Home.
Northside Community Guest Home Foundation Gala & Dance
Throughout the year, we have a few different events for fundraising to help with some of the major costs such as renovations and medical equipment our biggest being the Gala & Dance which is an evening of fine hors d'oeurvres, wine, live music, dancing, door prizes and raffle draws in a beautifully decorated atmosphere. The Gala & Dance started April of 2015 and has been growing each year all thanks to our wonderful sponsors, donors and volunteer fundraising committee.
Bells of Care Campaign
The Bells of Care Campaign began in 2009 and was developed to honor and remember our loved ones during the holiday season. You can participate in the “Bells of Care” campaign, by making a donation towards a Christmas bell that will be placed on one of the trees and displayed at the entrance of our main building or in Cara House. Each donation that is made will go towards a bell of the equivalent value that will be placed on the trees.
Wheelchair Accessible Van
Our goal for 2019 is to purchase a wheelchair accessible van that will allow our residents to retain their involvement within the community. The recreation department organizes day trips such as dinning out, boat rides at the Northern Yacht Club, participation in community events, shopping, and so much more!
